What do I need to wear?

Jupiter’s strongly advises you wear the appropriate riding gear which consists of: Helmet, Jacket, Pants, Gloves and Boots or Shoes with ankle support. If you do not have these items you can rent them from Jupiter’s when you pick up your motorcycle.

Where should I go on my ride?

Depending on how long you are planning on renting there are some great local rides. Jupiter’s recommends Seven Lakes Drive and Harriman State Park, Bear Mountain, Storm King State Park and Cold Spring for a daily ride.

Do you need insurance?

You must contact your insurance company to determine if Motorcycle Rentals are covered under your policy.  You MUST have your own health insurance and Jupiter’s Strongly Recommends Travel Insurance. Consider Travel Guard – http://www.travelguard.com

I am a new rider, do you offer anything for me?

Jupiter’s MotoStarter Program helps newly licensed riders gain the skills and confidence to eventually become full fledged MotoShare members with access to our fleet. In essence it is a chaperoned riding program. You will ride with current veteran MotoShare members or Jupiter’s staff who are past or current certified instructors, motorcycle industry professionals, or gifted coaches. ***The MotoStarter Program is suspended for the 2015 season.
